Chart topping star Cat Burns has returned to fans with two new releases entitled ‘People pleaser’ and ‘Sleep At Night’. After previously releasing her debut EP ‘Emotionally Unavailable’ earlier this year and collaborating with the likes of pop sensation Sam Smith and RnB star Mahalia, Cat Burns firmly confirms her place as one to watch.
Witty and relatable, ‘People Pleaser’ is a track that discusses what some of us will know all too well, prioritising other people’s needs over our own. We live in such a busy world that nowadays it’s hard to keep up with our daily tasks, never mind actually checking in with yourself. Cat Burns expresses this urge to people please so effectively that fans feel extremely connected to this piece of work.
Discussing ‘People Pleaser’, Burns said: “‘People Pleaser’ is what it says on the tin, my struggles with being a people pleaser and why I am one.”. When talking about all things ‘Sleep At Night’ she added: “’Sleep At Night’ is a really personal song for me; it’s about being deeply hurt and wronged by someone but deciding to take the high road and not say anything bad about them because you’re a good person.”
Burns has been revealed as one of the talented acts that will be joining Ed Sheeran on his huge 2023 North American ‘Mathematics’ tour. This is a huge milestone in Cat Burns career which will soon turn her into a household name.
