There can’t have been many in the industry that expected a form of music which was so Britain-based to have stayed the distance, but jungle is now firmly embedded as part of our musical culture and is all the better for it. December 22nd sees an almost unheard of coming together of some of the biggest names to have graced the worlds of UK jungle, reggae and ragga: General Levy; Navigator MC; Potential Bad Boy; Alaska MC; Sweetie Irie; Ras Demo – the list goes on and on. All will unite for a cause – Celebration of Life, which is supporting Demelza Hospice, and in particular the work they are doing to support the family of Jaden, a young boy with a terminal illness.
