The passing of Mr Manchester and one of the best loved label owners in modern times 8 years ago still leaves a gaping hole in the lives Anthony Wilson touched. Arguably the most prolific manager and artist developer of the last century, Wilson helped bands such as Happy Mondays, New Order, Sex Pistols and Joy Division achieve fame and fortune and was a massive influence to generations of bands in Madchester. St Anthony is gone but never forgotten.
