Former market traders ‘Men with Ven’ have been making real waves in the press recently regarding their new single ‘Jason Statham’ The chart topping single pays homage to their one and only hero of Deptford .. The Stathameister!!
Fresh from their London appearance at the ‘Spy’ movie premier, ‘Men with Ven’ took to the stage at their local pub ‘The Birds Nest’ in Deptford last Friday. The band immediately got the crowd going with their opening song ‘Beautiful Morning’ and ‘I Can Do That’. After warming up the crowd the band dropped their new single ‘Jason Statham’ and ultimate chaos erupted!
The band also performed new exclusive material about prostate exams ‘Check Your Prostate’ and their take on capital punishment ‘String ‘Em Up’!!!
They closed on ‘The Power of the Conga’ which extended onto Deptford Church Street.
All in all one of the best live acts I’ve seen in a long time!
